"Are You What You Are Believing For?"

This question came to me as a I was listening to a sermon by T.D. Jakes. He said, "Are you what you are believing for?" I must admit that is a question that made me come to a halt. It makes me question myself even more.

My hopes, my dreams, my desires......am I currently living the life that I am believing for? My answer to that question is "No". So you know that the next question is "Why?"
I honestly believe that many times in life we face situations that causes us to put our dreams on hold.

As a child you have a mindset of being unconquerable and  that you can be anything that you want to be.  So, what happens to that mindset as you grow older?

The reality of life hits you dead in the face. You may have come across some stumbling blocks in the road that made you take a detour. Once you take that detour you keep on going and going until the dream that you once had becomes a faint picture in the past. Every now and then you may get a glimpse of it. Weather it be someone living the dream that you once desired or it just happens to start re-occurring to you. You start to think I am too old now; I don't have the time; or that seems silly to accomplish now. Yeah I know you have heard this, well at least the majority of you have. Not only have you heard it, but I have heard it as well.

Well if your dream begins to haunt you, it is for a reason. This reason is because it is your destiny is awaiting you.

Everyone has a purpose in life. This purpose is meant to be used in the world to not only benefit you, but it is used to be a resource to benefit the world as well. People everyday are searching and searching for what it is that they are meant to do. I often ask myself what is my purpose what is my contribution to the world.

"Don't let mediocre situations rob you of your God given destiny."

The mind is very powerful. A strong willed mind is unstoppable and can accomplish anything that is put before it. As I stated earlier, as children we have a mind that is unstoppable there is nothing that we can't do. Don't let mediocre situations rob you of your God given destiny. As it has been stated many times before, "the cemetery is the richest place in the world". It is filled with so many people who died full of dreams, ideas, inventions, creations, books, etc.

I think that my biggest fear is not dying, but it is dying full. My one desire in this life is that  die empty and make my Father in Heaven proud. I really believe that when we doubt ourselves and give up on our dreams and callings that we insult God. We allow the mere antics of this world to doubt the ability that God has given us and we begin to slowly fade into the environment. We were meant to stand out not fit in.

When God created us He instilled everything that we will ever need inside of us. He stepped back and took a look at us as a proud masterpiece of his creation and smiled. The enemy will try to do everything in his power to make us feel that we are unworthy of Gods' love and forgiveness. If you allow him he will do it. I am here to tell you Never Give Up and Never Give In. God's timing is different from ours.

"God's timing is different from ours."

Any time that you attempt pursue your destiny there will be opposition. That's a guarantee. The enemy does not want you to fulfill your God-given destiny for he knows the impact that it will have on the earth. If you re-evaluate your life you will find that there were times  that you began to pursue your dream and it was something that would always get in the way of accomplishing it. Trust me it was not by coincidence. It is part of the plan. Not the plan of God, but the plan of the enemy.  God is an all knowing God and there is nothing that He can't fix. God will take a test and turn it into a testimony and He will take a mess and turn it to a message.

I know without a shadow of a doubt that it is never too late to be who you are believing to become. As long as you have breath in your body you can accomplish anything. It will take patience, persistence and tenacity and faith in God. Trust and believe if He put the dream in you it will and shall come to pass.

Until Next Time,
Officially Kimi
